Last Sunday we had some food left over so David and Amy headed to Dame street to share it with some of the city’s less well off.

David recalls that it was the coldest evening he has spent up there – just 3 degrees. It’s hard to imagine how all the homeless people survive during the winter – bearing in mind it will only get colder. It really makes you appreciate a warm house to call your home.

While they were in Dublin, a kind lady arrived with some pizzas – which the guys really love. If you’re in Dublin any evening between 8 and 10, please drop some food (of any type) into the volunteers there – either at the Central Bank or GPO.

Many of the crew looking after the homeless last night are there on Friday and Sunday nights – an incredible commitment from ordinary people towards those less fortunate!

Well done to Mick and his crew.
