What an amazing day yesterday turned out to be – despite the weather! We never expected the amount of support that we received for our family fun day and we were all truly humbled by it.

All day long, the cars were pulling in to the field across the road as David, his family and supporters kept the food and drink flowing.

We won’t know how much was raised until the beginning of next week but it would be safe to say that a very handsome amount will be split between North Westmeath Hospice, the LARCC Cancer Support Centre and the Irish Cancer Society.

We would like to say a massive “thank you” to our amazing sponsors, our incredible catering staff, the marquee owners, all who helped to erect the marquees and to park the cars. An event like this would not have been possible without them.

Last, but certainly not least, thank you to the community for the support shown, to all who braved the rain and who were so generous.
